EMPOWERED WOMANHOOD: THE JOURNEY WITHIN

Chateau de Bardouly in the Dordogne Region of France

October 9-14, 2022

Join us for this luxury yoga and therapeutic retreat in France at Chateau de Bardouly, a charming (and gorgeous! Seriously, the pictures do no do it justice) 17th century estate located outside the city of Bergerac, about 90 miles east of Bordeaux.

This idyllic setting is a perfect space for us to take a journey within and explore your relationship with yourself.

Often women in our culture are struggling to maintain the impossibly high standards of being everything to everyone - lovers, mothers, daughters, competitive professionals, errand runners, personal chefs, personal assistants, accountants, maids, chauffeurs, and many many more. Girl, you’re a super woman! We know it. But you’re overly focused on your relationships to others.

This retreat in France is dedicated to your own self-discovery, self-love, self-compassion, self-care, and self-generosity. It’s all about you!

Bree and Dez will guide you to examine your relationship to yourself, explore personal values, teach healthy boundaries, engage in thought provoking and dynamic exercises to deepen your connection to the self, as well as assist in building confidence and gaining real life skills to empower yourself.

Each day at this retreat in France will include yoga and meditation, therapeutic interventions and workshops, and process groups, including experiential exercises, such as writing assignments, role playing, and goal setting, as well as plenty free time to enjoy the beautiful grounds.

We cannot say enough about The Empowered Womanhood Retreat in France. It is truly magical and the retreat of a lifetime!

Flights:

You are responsible for your own flight. Please arrange to be at the Bordeaux-Saint-Jean train station by 12 pm on October 9, 2022 for our group pick-up. You’ll be dropped off at the Bordeaux-Saint-Jean train station around 12 pm on October 14, 2022. This group transportation to Bardouly is included in the cost of your tuition.

If you do NOT fly into Bordeaux-Merignac airport or the Bordeaux-Saint-Jean train station, you will be responsible for your own transportation to Chateau de Bardouly. If so, the host has suggested that people fly to London, and then take the Ryanair flight to Bergerac airport. Be aware that Ryanair flies out of smaller London airports (not Heathrow International Airport). Booked in advance it is generally very inexpensive and then you are only a 20 minute drive from the Bardouly house.

COVID-19 Considerations:

The following procedures are recommendations and guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and will be enforced during the Empowered Womanhood retreat in France:

  1. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  2. Sanitize commonly touched objects after each use.

  3. Placing hand sanitizer stations in high traffic areas.

  4. Use of masks in public spaces where masks are required.

  5. Option use of masks on the retreat property.

In addition to these, both hosts (Dezryelle Arcieri, LMFT and Brittany Jenkins, LMFT) are vaccinated and boosted against COVID19 and strongly encourage all participants to do so prior to attending the Empowered Womanhood retreat.

For your safety, and for the safety of the entire retreat group, participants, and staff, special accommodations will be made to address the COVID19 virus and pandemic:

  1. A negative COVID-19 test is required to attend the Empowered Womanhood retreat and you must provide proof of a negative COVID19 test 72 hours prior to arrival on TBD. If you test positive or fail to provide proof of testing prior to arrival on TBD, you will not be allowed to attend the retreat and there will be no refunds. Please ensure your travel insurance policy covers COVID-19 (we strongly recommend a ‘cancel for any reason’ policy).

  2. If the threat to travel to France moves to a CDC Level 4 or the US Government or French Government restricts travel to or from France due to COVID19, we will reschedule the retreat for a later date. If you can’t make the new dates, a full credit will be offered that expires on TBD or you will need to submit a claim to your travel insurance company for reimbursement (reimbursement subject to the approval/terms of your specific policy).

  3. Wearing masks on the retreat property will be optional. However, you must agree to wear a mask in public settings where we are required to do so according to French government.

  4. If you start to show symptoms of COVID19 (i.e. fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficult breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea) while on the Empowered Womanhood retreat, you agree to inform the hosts (Dezryelle Arcieri, LMFT and/or Bree Jenkins, LMFT) and began quarantine immediately.

FAQ

  • Women are, by in large, the caretakers of our families and our communities, and play a key role in the health of our culture and society. You hold space for everyone and everything and you do it well. However, this takes a toll on your wellbeing. You are ultra-busy, overworked, stressed, and disconnected from your needs and desires.

The Empowered Womanhood retreat is an opportunity to step into your feminine energy and use this as your superpower to increase vitality, renew your unique strengths, and create meaningful change.

The goal of the Empowered Womanhood retreat is to empower you to cultivate or reinvigorate your relationship to yourself, so you can be more effective in your responsibilities and experience more joy and overall peace.
